Wild Man Island By Hunter Chavarria

Wild Man Island

Wild Man Island is a great book! It’s about a young man named Andy who gets stranded on an unknown island during a kayak trip in Alaska. Andy has to learn how to survive on his own. Little does Andy know that he’s on the biggest bear infested island in Alaska. Later Andy finds out that there is a hermit living on the island too. Does the hermit help Andy or try to kill him? What will happen?! I greatly recommend this book or any of Will Hobbs’ books.

The Big Book of Girl Stuff
If you like practical jokes, made up holidays, babysitting and more, The Big Book of Girl Stuff is for you! This book tells you what “burning pom-poms” means, how to make things and how to tell if someone is lying.
This book makes you want to keep reading because there are fun things like comics, comments from real girls that you can relate to.
Bart King and his five sisters made this book and I have to say this is one of the best books I’ve ever read! I encourage you to read it!

Poppy's Return by Morgan Duran

Poppy’s Return
By avi
Poppy, Rye, and the grumpy old porcupine Ereth are back in Poppy’s Return by Avi. Poppy and Rye’s son Ragweed Junior has decided to become a teenager. Junior is what he goes by. Junior is a reckless boy that has no respect for anyone. His best friend is a skunk who is a lot more respectful than Junior but still crude. Rye and Poppy cant control his actions. Junior hates his color and dyes his hair black and white to look like Mephitis (Junior’s skunk friend). When Poppy thinks there is nothing to do with Junior she forgets that when she sees her sister coming from the trees. The sad thing is Poppy’s sister did not come with good news. There is trouble at Poppy’s first home The Old Grey house. Now Poppy has to decide if she wants to even go & if she dose should she go alone or take the whole family. She also has to think about Ragweed Junior. When she dose go she is faced with even more problems. I recommend Poppy’s Return 100% to anyone who loves to get that intense chill when ever something intense happened. Anyone would love this book!!!

It's Not About The Money by Christina

This Isn’t About the Money by Sally Warner
This Isn’t about the Money is a book written by Sally Warner. It is about a girl named Janey who gets in a car crash with her parents by a drunk driver. Her parents die and she is badly hurt but her sister is completely fine. It is called This Isn’t about the Money because her aunt thinks the drunk driver should pay all of the medical expenses and they shouldn’t pay anything. It takes place in a lot of places in Arizona and California such as on the road, in the hospital, and at her Aunt and Grandpa’s house. I recommend this book to anyone who thinks it sounds good. I also believe that if you like heartbreaking books this is the book for you. There is a lot of more about the book, but I don’t want to tell you to much so grab the book to find out more.

Escape from War by Jennifer Sharp

Escape from war
This great book Escape from War by James Riordan is about a girl named Hannah and her brother Hans going to Holland because there father had been killed in world war ll by Nazis.
Because they were Jewish they had to escape from their home town and leave all of there belongings behind. Hannah was excited to leave, but she was also sad because she had to leave her mother behind. I hope you read this asome book and find out what happens to Hannah.

Lion Boy by Devin de Jong

Lion Boy
Lion Boy is a realistic story by Zizou Corder and is about a boy named Charlie (who can speak cat) and his parents, Dr. Aneba and Professor Magdalen. Both his parents get kidnapped because they have the cure for asthma. Charlie goes after his parents but gets caught on a cirrus boat (that goes all over the world to perform) and becomes the Lion Boy for the circus.
Later Charlie and the circus perform at Paris and after the show he steals the lions because they wanted to be free, and brings them on a train to Venice but he gets mistaken because his parents are in Vence.
Rafi Sadler is the only one who can stop him but gets bitten by one of the lions. This is a great book and I recommend it to all ages plus the other two books in the trilogy of Lion Boy!
