Wild Man Island By Hunter Chavarria

Wild Man Island

Wild Man Island is a great book! It’s about a young man named Andy who gets stranded on an unknown island during a kayak trip in Alaska. Andy has to learn how to survive on his own. Little does Andy know that he’s on the biggest bear infested island in Alaska. Later Andy finds out that there is a hermit living on the island too. Does the hermit help Andy or try to kill him? What will happen?! I greatly recommend this book or any of Will Hobbs’ books.

It's Not About The Money by Christina

This Isn’t About the Money by Sally Warner
This Isn’t about the Money is a book written by Sally Warner. It is about a girl named Janey who gets in a car crash with her parents by a drunk driver. Her parents die and she is badly hurt but her sister is completely fine. It is called This Isn’t about the Money because her aunt thinks the drunk driver should pay all of the medical expenses and they shouldn’t pay anything. It takes place in a lot of places in Arizona and California such as on the road, in the hospital, and at her Aunt and Grandpa’s house. I recommend this book to anyone who thinks it sounds good. I also believe that if you like heartbreaking books this is the book for you. There is a lot of more about the book, but I don’t want to tell you to much so grab the book to find out more.

Lion Boy by Devin de Jong

Lion Boy
Lion Boy is a realistic story by Zizou Corder and is about a boy named Charlie (who can speak cat) and his parents, Dr. Aneba and Professor Magdalen. Both his parents get kidnapped because they have the cure for asthma. Charlie goes after his parents but gets caught on a cirrus boat (that goes all over the world to perform) and becomes the Lion Boy for the circus.
Later Charlie and the circus perform at Paris and after the show he steals the lions because they wanted to be free, and brings them on a train to Venice but he gets mistaken because his parents are in Vence.
Rafi Sadler is the only one who can stop him but gets bitten by one of the lions. This is a great book and I recommend it to all ages plus the other two books in the trilogy of Lion Boy!

Arthur Spiderwicks Field Guide by Levi Wynne

Arthur Spiderwick’s Field Guide by Arthur Spiderwick. Arthur Spiderwicks Field guide is about the unseen world and the unseen creatures. It tells about creatures that are dangerous and kind. For example, the goblins they are the ones you should avoid. Brownies they are the most kind of all. It also tells about how to take care of the creatures, and how to avoid the dangerous creatures. Also that the guide tells you about what they eat, where they live, and what the creatures do to survive. Another thing is that it goes from the weakest to the strongest creatures. One example of some of the weak animals is the boggart. The strongest of the creatures is the basilisks. I recommend this book because its illustrations are and the author explains the illustrations are really good. You should read the book Arthur Spider Wicks field guide. You will like it.
